7.7

7.7

New Features and Enhancements

Updated the appearance of all Verizon Connect® Response™ UI elements to reflect the latest Verizon Connect platform design language.
Updated the jobs list, removing the previous yellow territory selection warning, and adding a new information message to the body of the list when it is empty (that is, when a territory has not yet been selected).

7.6

7.6

New Features and Enhancements

Removed the Jobs button () from the map toolbar, and added the Jobs and Jobs Gantt Chart options to the main menu system, under the Main section. These buttons directly open the Jobs and Jobs Gantt Chart tabs on the Map tab in full list view.
Updated the date and time formats used in Verizon Connect® Response™ when a range of dates extends across two years, or when a job is scheduled to occur in the following year. These dates will now be formatted to include the year (for example "Dec 31, 2015 11:45 PM-Jan 1, 2016 1:15").
Updated the behavior of the Go To dialog when searching for jobs. A territory must now be chosen from the Fleet selector before searching for a job within that territory.
Updated the text shown in the 'Custom Job Properties' field on the Jobs tab of the main Settings dialog. This text now indicates that the user must type in the field, not simply click in it.
Updated the 'Dispatch' link on the Find Nearest Vehicle dialog. This link has been renamed to 'Routing' to maintain consistency with the rest of the platform.
Updated the 'Warnings' column (!) of the Jobs tab to correctly sort in either ascending or descending order.
Updated the jobs list to remember the previous position and width of columns when re-opened.
Updated the Jobs gantt chart search filter to function on all pages, not just the first page.
Improved the accuracy of job address locations when a marker does not already exist at the job location. Previously, the latitude and longitude of the location were used when selecting an address with the address selector tool, which could result in a neighboring address incorrectly being used as the job address.

Bug Fixes / Technical Release Notes

Removed the Create job here balloon menu option for users with insufficient rights to create new job in the marker's territory.
Removed the 'Job' field from the advanced filter on the InSight Alerts screen when the user does not have a Verizon Connect® Response™ subscription.
Removed the gap time Show and Hide radio buttons from the Reports tab of the platform Settings dialog.
Fixed an exception that could be thrown silently when creating a detailed route report.
Corrected an exception thrown when creating, opening, or saving a territory that used a fuel volume unit that was not recognized by the Routing Settings tab of the Territories tab.
Fixed a fault that could stop the driver assigned to a job being shown under the 'Assigned To' column on the Pending Job tab of the Marker dialog.
Fixed a problem that allowed jobs with a planned arrival time more than 12 hours prior to the current time to be displayed on the Pending tab of the Marker dialog.
Fixed a fault that caused the text 'undefined' to be shown on the map job balloon for jobs that had not yet been completed, rather than the actual or expected arrival time.
Fixed a bug that caused the wrong date to be shown as the 'Planned' date for a job on the Route Details dialog.
Fixed a fault that prevented newly-created routes appearing on the Go To dialog.
Corrected a bug that allowed multiple form instances to open when repeatedly clicking the Open Form button on the Add Job dialog.
Corrected a fault that permitted special characters to be typed into the 'Custom Job Properties' field on the Jobs tab of the main Settings dialog.
Corrected a problem that stripped customer imports of the address state field.
Fixed a bug that caused the selected territory to be cleared after selecting a location from the Add Job dialog.
Fixed a fault that allowed the 'Time to Expiration' column on the Jobs list to display the status of the job assignment rather than the expiration date.
Fixed a bug that could prevent a route assigned to a new driver saving the new driver assignment.
Corrected a translation issue on the 'Time to Expiration' column of the Jobs list when not using English as the UI language.
Fixed a fault that prohibited routes that had not started from being edited by any user, including admin and main users.
Fixed a bug that allowed jobs on routes that had been completed to be unassigned from the route.
Fixed a fault that could delete 'Note' text entered when creating a new job.
Corrected a fault that prevented the Dispatch Job dialog's driver filter clearing correctly after clicking the Clear (red 'x') button, and a fault that stopped the filter pop-up menu closing once it had been opened.
Corrected a problem that could prevent job histories being shown when selected from the Jobs Gantt Chart tab.
Corrected a bug that could stop route highlights for planned (future) routes being rendered on the map.
Corrected a problem that stopped the column picker hiding columns from the 'Based At' pop-up window on the Details tab of the Edit Driver dialog.
Fixed a fault that caused job expiration warnings to be added to or removed from only the most recently opened Job dialog.
Corrected a fault that could cause a "Loading History..." message to be displayed indefinitely when viewing the Jobs Gantt Chart.
Corrected a bug that stopped the map zooming to the selected territory if a second territory was immediately selected from the Fleet selector.
Fixed a fault that prevented the Dispatch Job dialog opening correctly in Firefox browsers.

7.4

7.4

New Features and Enhancements

Updated the behavior of the Dispatch Job dialog after the Dispatch button is pressed. A 'Loading' status message will now display, and the Dispatch button will be disabled, preventing the accidental selection of another driver before the process has completed.
Updated date and time formats used in Verizon Connect® Response™ to be consistent with the formatting used elsewhere in the platform. Days and months are now displayed as three letters (eg. 'Mon', 'Tue', 'Jan', 'Dec'), and single calendar dates will be shown as single digits (eg '2 Jan' rather than '02 Jan'). The current date will now always be shown as 'Today', and the year will only be included if it is different from the current year. 12-hour formatted times will no longer be zero padded (eg '7:30 AM' not '07:30 AM') while 24-hour formatted times will always be zero padded (eg. '02:30').

Corrected the ordering of drivers on the Dispatch Job dialog. These are now correctly ordered by their distance to the job location (as shown under the Distance column).
A problem that could prevent the list of jobs in the selected route from being visible on the Route Jobs tab of the Route Details dialog has been corrected. One column on this tab will now always be configured as visible, preventing the list from being completely hidden.

The Edit and Delete buttons will no longer remain visible on the Marker Details dialog if the marker has been deleted.
Removed the column sorting function from the Dispatch Job dialog. This dialog automatically sorts drivers by proximity to the job location, making the manual sorting feature unnecessary.
