If you drill down for Raw Data information, the Results tab shows the following information for each point (report) from the unit on the selected vehicle:
_point_id
The internal (system) ID for the data point.
unit_id
The internal (system) ID for the unit on the vehicle.
_days, _hours, _mins
The time delay between the GPS unit taking a position reading, and the system receiving the data. (Difference between time and _timerecv). This is of no great concern if under 5 minutes when the ignition is on.
Note: if the vehicle is parked, the unit goes into sleep mode. In this case a point can be very late because units do not always report immediately until the ignition is turned on.
_timerecv
The time that the server received the point (in GMT time).
If you drill down for GPS/IGN information, the Results tab shows the following information for each day in the specified time period:
id
The internal (system) ID of the unit installed on the vehicle.
tag
The name of the vehicle.
date
The date summarized in this row (for this screen it is always the most recent day of information).
last_recv
The date and time of the last report received from the unit.
i1
The number of points where input 1 was on (high).
i2
The number of points where input 2 was on (high).
noservice
The number of no service points. No service points can be caused by vehicle being out of cell coverage, a bad communications antenna, or an issue with the wireless carrier related to the sim or location of operation.
gpsoff
The number of points when the GPS was not signaling.
gpsbad
The number of points when the GPS signal quality was bad.
gpsok
The number of points when the GPS signal was acceptable but not good.
gpsgood
The number of points when the GPS signal was good.
ignon
The number of points when the ignition was on.
total
The total number of points received.
If there is no data for a column on the day summarized, the value is shown as -1. Look at the lastcontact field to double check this. Typical reasons for no data include:
•
In maintenance
•
Uninstalled
•
Lost power
•
Bad communication antenna causing unit to stop reporting
If you drill down for Log (GPRS) information, the Results tab shows a log of every time any of the following occurs:
STATS
The unit resets or power cycles. This might happen a couple of times per day.
ANTENNA SHORTED
The GPS antenna is shorted. You might get a false message on this if the unit power cycles. If the unit did not power cycle at the point where the log indicates an antenna short then you should check the vehicle for a shorted or broken GPS antenna.
