Creating a View

To create a new view:

 

1.From the Dashboards screen, in the upper left corner, select the Views tab.
2.From the Views screen, in the upper right corner, click Create view.

 
3.From the Create view dialog box, choose the data type for the new view and click Select. The options are:

Trip KPIs  - KPIs that measure data about trips.

oThe Trips table contains extremely detailed information about every individual trip that any of your drivers or vehicles have made.
oUse this data if you want to compare trips or see vehicles and drivers together in the same table or chart.
oYou can view data for trips in a table, on various types of charts, or on a map.
oExample KPIs: "Heavy Vehicle Fuel Used", "Trip Distance", or "Time on Site".
 

Driver KPIs - KPIs that measure data about drivers.

oDriver-based information is summarized by day and can therefore be accessed quickly.
oUse this data to access driver-focused safety metrics or information on driving times for compliance.
oYou can view data for drivers in a table or on various types of charts.
oExample KPIs: "Distance", "Hard Acceleration", or "Speed Events > 65mph".
 

Vehicle KPIs - KPIs that measure data about vehicles.

oVehicle-based information is summarized by day and can therefore be accessed quickly.
oUse this data to access vehicle health information or to group metrics like distance by vehicle-focused categories like make or model.
oYou can view data for drivers in a table or on various types of charts.
oExample KPIs: "Engine On Time", "DTC Events", or "Airbag Warning".
 


 

4.Change the name of the view by clicking on the Edit icon next to the default view name "Untitled view". Click the Tick icon to save the name.

 
5.Add a description of the view by clicking the Edit icon next to the default description "Description". Click the Tick icon to save the description.
6.Click Add KPIs to open the list of KPIs. The KPI list for the data type you selected earlier opens.

 
7.Select the check boxes next to the KPIs that you want to include in the new view. Some KPIs are not displayed by default. Click More to display additional KPIs. You can find specific KPIs by starting to type their names into the search field that contains the text "Find KPIs". See the platform help for descriptions of the KPIs.
8.Click Apply.
9.Add the new view to a dashboard.
