Viewing the Job and Route History

Every time a job or route changes, the event is tracked and recorded by Verizon Connect® Dispatch™. Changes include the job or route being created, updated, or deleted, or their status changing. A list of these records is shown in the Job History and Route History dialog boxes.

You can also view a history of all user actions, by accessing the History panel.

Viewing the Job History

To open the Job History dialog box, right-click a job on the map, in the Jobs List or the Daily Routes panel, and then select View job history from the Job Menu.


 

Alternatively, you can view a job's history from the Job Overview dialog box. Depending on your preferences, either click on the job's name in the Jobs List, or right-click the name in the Jobs List and then select View details from the contextual menu that opens. Select the History tab on the right of the Job Overview dialog box.

The history list in both of the places described above displays the following information:

 

A list of job updates, with the most recent update listed first and lines separating the updates made on different days.
Whether the update was automatic or made by a user . If it was made by a user, the name of the user account is displayed.
The date and time when the job was updated.
The details about the update, for example that the job was created or what the name was changed to.

Viewing the Route History

To open the Route History dialog box, right-click a route on the map, or on the Daily Routes panel, and then select View route history from the Route Menu.

The history list displays the following information:

 

A list of route updates, with the most recent update listed first and lines separating the updates made on different days.
Whether the update was automatic or made by a user . If it was made by a user, the name of the user account is displayed.
The date and time when the route was updated.
The details about the update, for example that the route was created or what the status changed to.

Changes to violations, cost, distance, driving time, route start time, and route end time might be recorded in the route history if these settings were modified outside of Verizon Connect® Dispatch™.
