The Supervisor App is a GPS-based fleet management app for mobile devices such as iPhone or iPad. A desktop version, Verizon Connect Supervisor Desktop, is available as an extension on Google Chrome.

This app is designed to let you quickly and easily locate and communicate with the vehicles and drivers you manage. If you are running on a device that has GPS capabilities, it can indicate the position of your vehicles and drivers relative to your own position, and locate those nearest to you. If your device does not have GPS capabilities, you can still view the current positions of your vehicles and drivers.

When you log in to the desktop fleet management package from a mobile device, your device is detected automatically and you are presented with the Supervisor app instead of the full desktop version. This App is designed to work in conjunction with the full desktop version, which must be used to enter information about your drivers (such as their phone number) and about markers (the locations that are important to your business). Once you have added this information, it is instantly available to the Supervisor App so that you can use it while you are in the field.

The Supervisor App described in this help document is being retired and its users transitioned to the Verizon Connect® Spotlight™ app, the new companion app for the Verizon Connect platform.
