Using the Contextual Menus

Right-click a job or a route in Verizon Connect® Dispatch™ to open the contextual Job or Route menus. These menus are used to perform tasks on the selected jobs or routes. The options available for each menu are detailed below:

Job Menu

The Job Menu is shown when you right-click a job on the map, in the Jobs List or the Daily Routes panel, or if you click the Job Menu button () to the right of the Jobs List. For example:

Individual jobs are represented on the Daily Routes panel by colored boxes. The color of these boxes is determined by Job Color Selector tool, which colors jobs either by their status or the type of violation or real-time warning (if any) present on the job. if a job has been selected (using the right-click contextual menu), the box is highlighted using a second border around the job box, as illustrated below.

If your subscription includes Verizon Connect® Response™, and you choose to color jobs by status, real-time jobs alerts are identified on jobs in timelines and the map with orange or red dots in the upper tight corner of job icons. These represent job alerts such as 'Late', 'Missed', 'Running Late' or 'Wrong Order' on jobs that have either been completed, or that were scheduled to occur in the past but that were not for some reason. The severity - red for critical or orange for non-critical - given to these alerts is configured from the Jobs & Routes tab of the Settings dialog. You can also choose to Hide individual alerts here, preventing any warning icons showing for specific real-time alerts.
